About MIFEA

Who We Are:

MIFEA is a non-profit, non-partisan regional federation of the mining industry with headquarters in Kampala, Uganda. We operate across all EAC partner states. The Mining Industry Federation of East Africa (MIFEA) was founded by pioneering stakeholders who saw an urgent need for a regional platform to champion mining as a driver of transformation. With headquarters in Kampala, Uganda, MIFEA bridges governments, corporations, artisanal miners, and development partners to create a unified mining ecosystem in the East African Community (EAC).
